Welcome to the Sexual Health and Ageing, Perspectives and Education (SHAPE) Project website.
The project team consists of Professor Jane Hocking, Professor Meredith Temple-Smith, Dr Sue Malta, Associate Professor Adrian Bickerstaffe and Ms Louise Bourchier (PhD Student) of the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health and the Department of General Practice at the University of Melbourne.
The SHAPE project was originally funded by the Hallmark Ageing Research Initiative, University of Melbourne, to investigate barriers and enablers to sexual health discussions between healthcare practitioners and their older patients.
Contact the Project Manager, Sue Malta (susan.malta@unimelb.edu.au) for further information. If you are a student or a collaborator with an idea for a project, please do not hesitate to be in touch.
See our call for participants to take part in the SHAPE Project Focus Groups!
